Goal 4

To conduct and promote research in the inter-disciplinary areas of sustainable development, collaborate and interact with researchers within and outside the University, and to disseminate these findings through classroom lectures, workshops, newsletters and conferences.

This objective focuses on the progression of comprehension and knowledge in diverse facets of sustainable development via research. Interdisciplinary research encompasses the amalgamation of viewpoints and approaches from various academic disciplines in order to holistically tackle intricate sustainability issues. We need to conduct collaborative research both in an out of campus in a way that it will enable us to thoroughly understand the current issues and also to find a solution for the same.

Effective resolution of sustainability challenges requires collaboration. Through active collaboration with researchers from both inside and outside the university, the Centre endeavors to harness a wide range of knowledge, assets, and viewpoints in order to cultivate innovation and produce influential resolutions.

Conducting research alone is insufficient; to optimize impact, it is critical to disseminate findings and insights to pertinent stakeholders. By utilizing conferences, newsletters, classroom seminars, workshops, and academic workshops, among others, the Centre has the potential of reaching a wide range of audiences, including the general public, policymakers, practitioners, and students. This dissemination facilitates the transformation of research findings into practical knowledge, enhances the decision-making process, and promotes engagement and cooperation among the appropriate stakeholders.

In general, this objective highlights the Center’s dedication to the progression of knowledge, encouragement of cooperation, and support for the pragmatic implementation of research outcomes to make a significant contribution to endeavors related to sustainable development.
